Active Vacances is a perfect venue for all your triathlon & bike training needs, whether you are beginner, intermediate or advanced level - doing it just for fun or to achieve a challenging target for a key race. You can come along with a group of friends from your tri club & with your own coach, with your family & if you are an independent traveller then sign up for one of our dedicated weeks to meet up with like-minded triathletes. Leave your bike at home & try out top-of-the-range 2011 triathlon gear from Planet X bikes & SNUGG wetsuits with the TRAVELITE option.

- Fully supported training week with advice & guidance from experienced triathletes & cyclists.
- Luxury gîte accommodation for up to 8 guests plus coach & exclusive use of our 25 metre heated swimming pool.
- Open Water swims - sea & freshwater lake & river.
- Healthy & hearty breakfasts, lunches & suppers throughout your stay - special diets catered for.
- Airport transfers from Pau Pyrénées airport.
Optional Extras
- Bike Hire 120 euro per week includes bike fit to your existing set-up.
- Wetsuit hire 20 euros per week.
- Sports/relaxation massage 40 euros for 40 minutes.
- One-to-one swim/bike/run coaching session 40 euros for one hour.
- Single occupancy of a twin/double room 120 euros per week.
Not Included
- Two evening meals taken at local restaurants.
- Entry fee to triathlon & bike events.

I heard that Paul and Kate had completed the preparation for Active Vacances earlier this year and was so impressed by what they have to offer - and the area in which they are located - that I decided to make this my training base for the World Championship races. I am excited and pleased that I have been able to use their superb facilities for training so that I can get prepared to defend my World Duathlon title and improve my performance in Hawaii. Active Vacances has everything I need for perfect preparation; fantastic riding in the Pyrenees and flat time trialing; the choice of off and on road running and of course a beautiful and exclusive 25 metre pool at my doorstep. On top of this, Paul and Kate make fantastic hosts! They have done a wonderful job and I really recommend Active Vacances, what more could any athlete ask for?

We have spread it to our training-girlfriends "Piker 50" (Girls 50 Years- as we call our group, though nobody are younger than 61), and to family and friends as well. Some of them should liked to have¬Ýa stay at Active Vacances. I am so happy to be Annes friend, who is Chris's friend, which gave me the opportunity to participate in this fantastic stay! What an experience I have got. You pushed me, and I did my best. ¬Ý I have decided to participate in winter training/spinning once a week with the Pedalpigene (Pedalgirls) here in Kristiansand. Then time will show if I am going to cycle "Kristiansand - Hovden" 220 km. I have done it three times before, but then I was about 20 years younger. May be...if it's not raining. Grandmothers like to have it comfortable.
